Several Nagios on the same server

Hello,

I know that we can create secondary servers Nagios (satellites) on other servers so that these secondary servers powerful to read their own configuration file.

I wanted to know if I could install several Nagios on the same server Linux so that they can read their own configuration file.

It probably could be done if you handle the configuration and installation correctly, but I would have to ask why you need this? If you are looking to have multiple remote machines monitored, you do not need to have multiple Nagios installations.

Hello,

I installed the plugin Check Nagios for Firefox who allows me to create sound alerts.

I have several map (every map posts 50 servers).

If I connect on a map (which posts 50 servers), the plugin posts me alerts of all the supervision (and not on 50 servers of the map).

I would have wanted
a map = a config nagios
to have that the alerts of the map

This is what I obtain on Firefox with a map which contains that 10 servers.

The plugin shows me all the alerts (of all the servers)

I'm still not sure what this has to do with multiple nagios installs on the same server, or with sounds. Please be as specific as possible, and describe exactly what it is you need help with.
