I do not have any 10G to test, please try this on a test system.
*** Note: This will get reverted if you upgrade and will need to be reimplemented.
*** Make sure that you have known-good backups/vm snapshots before making any modifications
Replace the file below with the one I've attached:
Then setup a NEW (or you can delete your /etc/mrtg/conf.d/DEVICE.cfg files) device and see if the config files list it properly.

so i didnt make a backup of cfgmaker and then thought i could restore via replacing the network switch/router wizard, so i deleted that and downloaded from the web and re-installed. got version 2.1.8. it didnt update cfgmaker, but i ran my 2960X again and it works: 10gbps on the ints and 20gbps on the port-channels. sometimes even a blind squirrel finds an acorn.
not sure if its just the old wizard version or the combination of the old wizard and the new cfgmaker that is doing the trick here, but figure its pretty useful info for you guys...

Glad to hear its working now and thanks for the additional info - its helpful having those details available as evidenced by the brdr's forum post about this issue.
