Editing the standard notification variables

Post by srhart »

Hi

We have enabled SSL support on our customers Nagios server and firewalled the http access, however the email notifications that are being sent have links that only have http URLs on them. These seem to relate to the standard variables %responseurl% & %xiserverurl% - so we need to simply edit these to change the http to https however we cant find them.

Please point us in the right direction to edit these variables.

Thanks

Take a look at Admin -> System settings, do you have http:// or https:// in use there?

We have a document with a bit more information available here as well - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... s%20XI.pdf

I wouldn't block off 80/http, but rather force HTTPS redirects.
