Compiling the NSCA Client

Post by azam101 »

On the nagios training video it says to run this command in the cli:
Wget http://sourceforge .net/projects/nagios/files/nsca-2.x/nsca-2.7.2/nsca-2.7.2.tar.gz/download

But what I need to know is if I can download the file on a network location, then map to that location from the cli and complete the installation that way. We need to do this on environments which are not allowed internet connection due to our security policies. If this is possible please can you advise what command would I need to enter in the cli on the centos.

NFS should work, but we don't not support it....
