Disabled events becoming active after reload

Hello,

We have a Nagios 3.3 installation with Merlin to distribute. We have throughout the day 'reloads' of the configuration and have seen that checks that would be in a 'disabled' mode becomes 'active'.

I know this an old version, but would like to know if there is a resolution to this issue?

We can provide support for Nagios Core, but not 'Merlin'. Your best bet is going to be looking for support through them.
