Distributed Monitoring

HI All,

Which distributed monitoring solutions do you all use? i am looking to have multiple nagios servers at different sites and then have a central system which ideally would be able to see all the information from the remote nagios servers but not update as frequently and for it to get the information from the remote nagios server and not have to do the checks itself. ideally the solution would be free / open source the same as nagios core.

Not to sound overly salesman-like, but Nagios Fusion was created just for these exact scenarios. It is not open source however, but still quite affordable:
