How to go back to Normal using NRDP

Post by vmesquita »

Hello,

I am trying to understand the NRDP integration plugin. It seems that it's possible to send a Critical and Warning events once a given number of entries is found, however there's no way to send a "Normal" event, to make the service in Nagios go back to normal state. Did I understand correctly?

When NLS sees the alert go back to normal, it will still send an NRDP message back to the Nagios host putting the service into an OK status. In other words, your Nagios service check should match the state of your NLS alert to within a few seconds of latency.
