Hardware monitoring using the emails sent from the console

Post by nagmoto »

Hi,

Trying to implement monitoring for the the hardware features such as temperature, fan, etc using the alerts sent from console by different hardware. Is there any plugin or procedure available for implementing such task?

Excellent question!

This will have a lot more to do with what specific hardware you are monitoring. There are a lot of hardware plugins available for different types of hardware such as servers or network devices. Here is a list of hardware based plugins on our Exchange site, but I'm sure there are a lot of other options out there for you to try:

lgroschen,

Thanks for the quick reply. I will go through the link you have provided. Can we keep this topic open, so if I encounter any issues with implementation I can post questions to this topic itself?

Thanks.

We certainly can do that, I will just ask that you not post back unless you have a question so our "TODO" list stays clean.
