Network audit - Nagios

Post by mkhan12282 »

Hi All

We had a network audit, and Nagios has been scanned having vulnerable ports. Please see snapshot.
Can we patch nagios to fix the issue?

We are running:
Nagios® Core™ 3.5.0 - http://www.nagios.org

Thanks

You don't seem to have attached any information.

There's not really a lot we can do with that information, as there are no details. You can try upgrading to the latest Nagios version, but without detailed information it's impossible to say what the issue is.

Almost all of those listed vulnerabilities are in Apache and SSH - the word "nagios" only appears in the doc as the hostname for the target machine. There were also resolutions listed for these vulnerabilities, which your network or security team will need to resolve.
