Fusion dashboard shows "session timeout"

Post by RIDS_I2MP »

Hi Team,

We are using Fusion 2014R1.0, we have deployed the dashboard to our different teams.

Few users are not able to access the fusion dashboards, it shows "session timeout message".

Kindly suggest.

Does it show that for every dashboard for the users who are experiencing the issue or just this specific dashboard?

Hi Team,

"session timeout" message occurs randomly for any of the dashboards.

Sometimes the dashboard works fine and sometimes it displays "session timeout" message, usually this happens with our production servers dashboards.

This is odd.

Which dashlet are you using on that dashboard? Is the fusion machine at the same location as the other Nagios machines?

We are using custom URL dashlet.

The fusion server and Nagios server are in same VMware.

This session timeout issue is faced by only few users in offshore.

What URL do you have the custom URL dashlet pointing to?

The custom URL of dashlet is pointing to the service status for any particular service group.

We are having 2 production and 2 non production Nagios XI servers, we are facing issue while loading the production service status dashlets in fusion whereas for non production the dashlets are loading as required in fusion.

What is the exact URL? Is it the service status page in core or XI?

If it's XI, do the dashlets contain the proper URL? It'll need a username=&token= parameter added.

It is the service status page of XI.

How can I compare the URL whether it is exact or not?

We are using custom URL dashlet.
I am a bit confused. The "Custom URL Dashlet" is a Nagios XI dashlet, not a Fusion one...

Can you describe in details how you add dashlets to your dashboard in Nagios Fusion? There is a "Service Group Summary" dashlet available in Fusion.
