Tomcat 8 monitoring with nagios

Do we have the support for monitoring tomcat8 through nagios? if it is there then please provide steps to monitoring tomcat8 using nagios.

If something cannot be monitored in Nagios XI "out-of-the-box" (via monitoring wizards), it can be probably monitored via 3rd party plugins. I would recommend checking out the Nagios Exchange website for a suitable plugin:

Once you find a plugin that looks promising, test it from the command line and set a command, and a service in XI by following the KB article below:
