regular status update mail

Post by Bionic___ »

What I wold like to see is an email notice at scheduled times that tells me the status of hosts and services. Like this:
Current status as of 2016-05-19 18:00
Hosts = 56
Up = 56
Down = 0
Unreachable = 0
Pending = 0

Services
OK = 331
Warning = 1
Critical = 0
Pending = 0
Unknown = 0
I have not found anything like that. Does anyone know of such?

Is this for Core or for XI? There are ways to do this but the steps/ease will differ based on the product.

In XI, the easiest way to do this would be to enable the Enterprise Edition features, either by starting the trial or by contacting Sales to purchase a license. This will allow you to schedule pages to be sent out via email at certain times. You could schedule the Operations Center page to do this, since it includes all of this information in one area. In XI 5.2.7 at least, there is an option in the upper-right of a page (a dropdown menu) to schedule the page.

Thanks for the information. I did not know about that option.
The PDF attachment seems to fill the bill.
