You won't be able to monitor through a traceroute, but you could set up ping checks for all of your different interfaces / gateways.

What exactly are you looking to do in regards to the traceroute?

Actually sometimes we got network issue and we report to network team they told there is no such issue on network side. So if I want to monitor on which applications are running on so how could I do this? I want to do that because whenever we got network issue and network team declined it we should give proof through the alert we got.

Thanks

Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch, but Nagios Network Analyzer may be what you need in this scenario. Like any of Nagios' products there is a free 60 day trial - perhaps that will be enough time to test it out to see if it will help with determining what the 'network issue' is.

Hi,

I have done with the installation of Nagios Network Analyzer. Now I want to check packet loss for particular server so could you please let me know how to do that?

Thanks

A simple check_ping on Nagios XI will measure packet loss for you. Sorry, but NNA will not help you with that. I only suggested NNA in response to your description of ".. sometimes we got network issue .."
NNA utilizes netflow data which is described here https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... _Flows.pdf
