Access external scripts on one server from Nagios server

Post by jameelzzz »

Hi all,

I want to call an external script on one server from Nagios server. I added all the required modifications to NSClient.ini file in the server.
I followed exactly the instructions in the documentation: https://docs.nsclient.org/howto/external_scripts.html
When I run the script from Nagios server or via "nscp test" on the server itself, I got the following error:
Failed to execute SCRIPT_NAME seems more like a script maybe you need a script executable first: failed to lookup error code: 193 (reason: 87)

how can I overcome this error message? please let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Please post your NSClient++ configuration file for us to look at, as well as how you're attempting to run it from the Nagios server.
