Post by rburger »

Hello, I have a set of file servers clustered and I would like to to be able to monitor the drives when they transfer between the servers. How is this done with Xi.

Thanks Rick

Have you searched the Exchange site for any plugins for what you want to monitor?

If you mean you want to know when a clustered resource such as a drive has changed node, you could define a preferred node and use for example this plugin:

https://outsideit.net/check-ms-cluster-preferred-node/

to see if it's no longer running on it's preferred node. If you want to know things such as dusk usage and disk load, you can just target the cluster ip and use the regular methods, such as https://docs.nsclient.org/reference/win ... kDisk.html and https://outsideit.net/check-ms-win-disk-load/
