Host Groups and Contact Groups Question

Post by chicjo01 »

Version 4.2.7

Is there any way to use comma in the host group name or contact group name? I am getting an illegal character when attempting to add it. Is there a way to escape it to allow the character to be used?

Host Group Name: /platform/sun4u/kernel/cpu/sparcv9/sunw,ultrasparc-iie

This isn't going to be possible, as Nagios uses , as a delimiter in the actual configurations. Even if you were able to have it accept it, it'll end up confusing Core under the hood because it's expecting that as the delimiter.
