Bandwidth perf graph quit working

I have just discovered that our bandwidth performance graphs have not been working for about a week. Nagios XI 5.2.7 I looked through the faq's for performance graphs troubleshooting and went through several steps
Our load threshold is set to 30 in the npcd.cfg and has been for a long time. I have attached the .rrd which quit being written to on the May 22

This appears to have happened after several OS patches

Take a look at this KB article to trouble shoot what could be causing the bandwidth grapth issue.

It could be that the mrtg package was downgraded, causing the graphs to stop functioning and the article will guide you to fix it.
