How to check secondary IP of a host

Hi Nagios Team,
I want to check the secondary IP of Linux servers that I'm dealing with.
I found a link https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... Ex/details
but I don't know how and where to add this patch to my Nagios server. If there are another solution that would be appreciated.
I don't know what my post are getting deleted ,I hope it won't and somebody can help me.
