Hi ,
I have installed Nagios log server with the manual Installation instructions document given in Nagios documentation. But after installing, when I tried to access the Nagios log server user interface, I was getting Page cannot be displayed error.
Then I have configured SSL for Nagios log server with Port 443. After configuring I was able to see Nagios log server Home Page, But it is not in the proper format.
I am having one more issue. After configuring SSL only I came to know that Port number 443 is already been configured for some other application. So while accessing Nagios log server user interface , I am getting that application home page(which is already configured) in same page.
Can you please tell me what is the default http port which is specific to nagios log server. Default http port is 80. but is there any httpd port available for nagios log server. if nagios log server is using default httpd port 80, then is there any way to change that port only for nagios log server?
Kindly help me on this.

Did you install Nagios Log Server on a server that already has other applications running on it?Monica7 wrote:After configuring SSL only I came to know that Port number 443 is already been configured for some other application.
It's important that Nagios Log Server is installed on a fresh base install of CentOS / RHEL:

Re: Nagios log server web interface - not in proper format
Hi,
Issue is resolved now. Now I am able to see the Nagios home page in proper format.
But is it possible to track the logs of server2 from server1 where nagios log server is installed? If this is possible, can you please tell me how to proceed.

Re: Nagios log server web interface - not in proper format
Can you please re-phrase your question for us? I'm having a hard time understand what you're asking when you say 'track the logs'.
If you're trying to forward your logs from server2 to the Nagios Log Server, then yes.

Ok thanks. as per your reply (second line), It is possible to forward the logs from Server2 to Nagios log server . Could you please share me the steps to achieve this?
Whether any configuration that needs to be done in Server2 to forward the logs of server2 to nagios log server?

Take a look at the Home page, and click 'Linux Source', then look at the Script or Manual tab. Both have instructions for how to forward logs from server2 -> your NLS.

Can you hit the button that says 'change' and try to load a different dashboard? It looks like you're loading a dashboard that no longer exists.

Hi,
even If I am clicking on change, it is asking for query to filter. I am not getting the logs itself in dashboard. Then will I search with the query to filter my logs
Nagios log server implementation query posted by me today in nagios support forum is my objective. if you would read this , you will get an idea of what I did so far and you can help me.
