Notification settings for non-admin users

Hi,

our nagios users asked me how they can see how a check will notify when they are configured through a template.
Many users complain they cannot see the actual notification settings of their checks.
Users are not admins and have : Can(re)configure hosts and services + Can access advanced features checked.
Config= Nagiosxi 5.2.8

Have you any suggestion on how to show this info without change accounts from user to admins?

Can you elaborate? What are the settings that they need to see?

Hi,

the question we get from many users is where they can see what notification is set on a specifiek check they are responsible for.
When i go to the "Configure" page of the check and then to "Re-configure this serevice" , Notifications tab i cannot see to what contacts the check is set because we use template for the checks.

In other words when using templates users cannot see the "Other individual contact" or "Specific contact group" settings and cannot change them without contacting the admins.
What we are missing is the possibility for users to change their template.

Yes, you clarified well, unfortunately that functionality doesn't currently exist, I've created a feature request for you:
