Thank you for description.
I have disabled check_nt while installing nsclient++ on windows machine.
Port 5666 is in listening state and client can be communicating with nagios server on 5666 port.
I have recheck port 12489 is disabled.
Moreover I did not specify anywhere that it should use check_nt.
Can you please answer the following questions please?
1- Is there any way to monitor windows machine with check_nrpe protocol?
2- Does nagios support the configuration wizard on port 5666 for windows machine?
As per my understanding nagios only allow configuration wizard for windows machine on check_nt protocol which listens on port 12489 port.
looking forward for your response.
Thank you very much!

You can use the NRPE wizard, which will use check_nrpe. You may need to define your commands though, as there are only a few built in, but once you get them setup you can use the same configuration on your different machines.

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions
I have done it, Issue was on nagios server side, which was monitoring my host with check_nt protocol rather than to monitor from check_nrpe.
I have fixed it for now.
Thank you!

Is it alright if we lock this thread and mark the issue as resolved?
