How to get rid of decommissioned host from Nagios

Hi Guys,

I just decommissioned two host but they appear as 'down' in nagios server, how to correct that I mean not to make them appears and also to ensure that Nagios doesn't collect stats for them?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You would just need to remove their definitions from the config files and restart the nagios process.

Please close this thread. As recommended update host.cfg and services.cfg, post restart of nagios and httpd I could achieve my objective.
