Adding AD Certs

Post by gwakem »

On NNA 2.2.1, under the LDAP/AD Server Integration, it states "If you're planning on using SSL or TLS with self-signed certificates you need to make sure the proper certificates are installed on the Network Analyzer server or you will not be able to connect to your LDAP / Active Directory server."

I see in XI there is a tool to import those certs. On NNA however, there doesn't appear to be. How does one go about importing those self signed certs on NNA?

You can essentially follow this guide here:

https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ponent.pdf

*** NOTE: You want the issuing certicate authorities certificate, not the domain controller's certificate.

Thanks, the note about the Issuing CA's cert was what was tripping me up when I was attempting to do it manually. That tip got me the across the finish line. This can be locked.
