I am just trying out Nagios Log server for teh first time.
Getting it to read windows logs is nice and easy.....
Now I'm trying to get it to read MySQL stuff.
How do I get it to read when MySQL is installed on a Windows machine??
I tried setting it up for MySQL on a linux machine as well with no luck.
I went to +Log Source -> mySQL Setup, and followed those directions.... I don't see any logs from it.
The Script Setup ran fine without errors.
ANy idea?

I've noticed MySQL doesn't generate a ton of logs. Can you make sure that it's not just a lack of data being sent from the server?

Open the log file and see when the last time something happened was, and make sure it wasn't before you set up the log forwarding.

Also, for the Windows logs, you'll need to run the Windows File Wizard, and point it at your MySQL logs on Windows. The MySQL wizard was designed for Linux. We'll see if we can get them both working for you, though!
