NLS LDAP issues

Post by BanditBBS »

Has NLS received the same AD/LDAP fixes that XI has? I have quite a large amount of users in a specific tree and in NLS it shows no users to import but in XI it shows them all.

I believe XI may be ahead on the AD side of things. Was this a fix in XI? I remember a few certain AD bugfixes, but this one isn't ringing a bell. Any special characters/1k+ users or anything special about this group? I can certainly file a bug report.

It is the largest OU, but don't think it is over 1000. No special characters either and setup exactly like AD integration is set on the XI host.

EDIT #1: Actually, the OU has "(DLF)"

That'll give me enough to do some testing with. Might be a special character thing.

Confirmed the parentheses are causing issues.

Please replace this file with the one I've attached (unzip it first):

Code: Select all

/var/www/html/nagioslogserver/application/libraries/adLDAP/classes/adLDAPFolders.php
Then try it again, that should fix the issue, let us know the results.

Thank you
