Feature request - managing logstash plugins
It would be great to be able to manage installation/update of logstash plugins directly from NLS interface. I'm afraid that any plugins installed by hand with /usr/local/nagioslogserver/logstash/bin/plugin will be wiped during the installation. There are a few useful filters that are not present in the default NLS install, such as logstash-filter-cidr, logstash-filter-translate.

I don't believe your self installed plugins through logstash will be erased through an update. They should persist.
As for the feature request, I've filed it. I agree with you and think it's a great idea to have it manageable through the web GUI. The ID is #8933.
