Re: Remove ghost services
I think this would be better solved over a remote, is submitting a ticket in an option for you so that we can get a remote setup for this? We've looked over multiple things now in multiple different threads, and I don't believe any of it's adding up.

Re: Remove ghost services
Hello,
I found solution by myself.
Any creative idea hit in my mind and made my life so easy.
All services those were in unknown state, I defined for only one server not for all. But services were in unknown state on all servers of a hostgroup.
I Just edit the service which is running fine on one server and removed it hostgroup and servicegroup that solved my issue. But still I am not clear that what was the issue and why it was showing on for all other servers as well.
Otherthan this service all other services are also having shared hostgroup/servicegroup but not showing on other servers.
Please explain.
Thank you!

There is probably a service assigned to the host group, and since it's not applicable for that host - it was coming back unknown. It sounds like you've fixed that accordingly.
Are we good to mark this thread as resolved?

Re: Remove ghost services
I agree sir!
But there are so many other services as well those are shared with host group but those do not show in other hosts.
I am not clear on it.
Thank you!

Re: Remove ghost services
It's hard to say, that's why I asked if we could get a remote going. As this is resolved now though, going to close this one out.
