Nagios core compatible with Nagios log ?

Hello Everyone,

Nagios log server looks much better to detect error log files. Will be possible that if an error occur and Nagios log detect that, could Nagios Core extract this information ?

I am using Nagios Core to monitor the MSSQL databases but I am looking now how to monitor MS SQL Server Log File Viewer. will be possible for Nagios log to do that ? and if yes, Can i send this errors to Nagios Core?

You can send the alerts to Nagios Core using NRDP.

In addition, Nagios Log Server can send alerts via email directly, and it can execute any arbitrary script. This includes attempting to restart things or to leverage Nagios event handler code.

In short, you can do whatever you want with a Nagios Log Server alert!
