You need to remove the relationships that the contact 'sjain' is dependent on. Once you remove those, it will let you delete the contact without issue.
1. Remove sjain from the itsupport contactgroup.
2. Remove 'sjain' as a contact from the host localhost.

You need to go into Core Configuration Manager and remove the contact from the objects that are being complained about.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

From the Nagios XI web interface:

1. Go to Configure->Core Config Manager->Contact Groups (under "Alerting" menu on the left)->itsupport->Manage Contacts->remove "sjain"->Close->Save
2. Go to Configure->Core Config Manager->Hosts (under "Monitoring" menu on the left)->localhost->Alert Settings->Manage Contacts->remove "sjain"->Close->Save
3. Go to Configure->Core Config Manager->Contacts (under "Alerting" menu on the left)->itsupport->Delete->Apply Configuration

Let us know if this resolved your issue.

Is it alright if we lock this thread and mark the issue as resolved?
