Re: email Notification Messages - add description
If "nagiosaskodin" is the contact of interest, then you should modify the configuration - currently, host notifications are disabled, and the "service command" is not defined. You should have:
You can modify this through the Core Config Manager->Alerting->Contacts->Modify.
Also, go to: Core Config Manager->Monitoring->Hosts, find the host of interest and click on the "Modify" Action button. Post a screenshot of the "Common Settings" tab, where it shows the "Host name" and the "Description". You can erase the IP address for privacy.
Code: Select all
host_notifications_enabled 1
service_notifications_enabled 1Also, go to: Core Config Manager->Monitoring->Hosts, find the host of interest and click on the "Modify" Action button. Post a screenshot of the "Common Settings" tab, where it shows the "Host name" and the "Description". You can erase the IP address for privacy.
