Hi,
I am currently testing out the trial version of NagiosXI, version 5.2.9 installed manually on CentOS 7. I have tried adding new services to hosts that were setup by the wizard. While creation and deletion of service works well, smaller changes in service configuration are not committed to to the nagios files when I do apply config.
So for example, I create this new service, service A. I have not configured service A properly, so while it did get configured, it was not set on a host. I now try to set a proper host. Once I apply the configuration though, and I then go check on the dashboard, service A does not appear for that host on the dashboard. If I then go look in the nagios configuration files for that host, this new service is nowhere to be found. Now, let's say I try to add another new service called service B. When I am done configuring service B and apply the configuration, both service A and service B will work and appear in the proper Nagios file. If I am to modify the settings for service B, they will then not be applied until I add another service or delete service A.
While it's an issue I can get around by constantly deleting and creating new services, it is quite bothersome. Could it be caused by a misconfiguration or is this a bug? I also checked for any sudo-related errors and there was nothing.
Small changes to service configurations not getting applied

Re: Small changes to service configurations not getting appl
I cannot reproduce what you are explaining. I'm not saying there isn't a bug there however we'll need some more detailed steps to reproduce the problem. For example:
Go into CCM
Monitoring > Services
Click xxx
type yyyy
It needs to be detailed to see if we can identify when the bug is happening.
