how to change password in NSClient++

Post by caterpillartce »

hello,

Once a windows server is added to Nagios XI to be monitored, if I have a need to change the password in the nsclient.ini file, how do I do that in Nagios XI so that it knows the password change on the client (the server that is being monitored) side? I don't seem to be able to find a column for password in the "Host Management" settings.
Thanks!

The password would need to be changed on the remote machine, then updated in XI for the individual services. The password is not typically stored in a host config.
