XI feature request: Capacity planning horizon over 3 month

Post by dlukinski »

Hello XI Support

Unsure how to request new Nagios features.
Please submit new feature request for updating Capacity planning formulas limited to 1 week / 1 month / 3 month horizon to add 6 month and 1 year.

Thank you

What version of XI are you using? I see the following time periods in my Capacity Planning page (Nagios XI 5.2.9):

That is for the historical period. I am talking about predictive period (stops at 3 month)

I'm still a bit confused. If I set the time period to "1 Year" on the top menu I described in my last post and run the report, I get predictions that are 1 year out:

It's worth mentioning that the time periods are fairly arbitrary as far as Nagios XI is concerned. However, various extrapolation methods require a certain amount of historical data to reference in order to make meaningful predictions. You can always make the prediction, but how reliable it is depends in part on the size of the sample set.

Can you share a screenshot with the set up I described?
