File monitoring on a Windows server

Post by sth_bytelab »

Hi

I am new to Nagios and would like to monitor a windows server to see if my services are running correct.
I would like to see if a certain file is been created. I have already installed the NSClient++ on the windows server and the monitoring of the server in general are working fine.
But I would like to monitor to see if a certain file is been created how can I accomplis this?

Best Regards
Simon

@box293 wrote a great article about this topic:

Refer to the "Make Sure A Specific File Exists" section.
