can't install nrpe plugin on nagios server

Hello

I am trying to install the nrpe plugin on my nagios server and i get the following kerberos error at the end of the installation . plus something about ssl headers , can you please advise this is driving me mad :D I have been trying to install the plugin for 2 days now !


checking for Kerberos include files... configure: WARNING: could not find include files
checking for pkg-config... pkg-config
checking for SSL headers... configure: error: Cannot find ssl headers

Sorry to hear this has been a hassle for you. We'll need a bit more info in order to better troubleshoot....

What OS/version is this server?
How did you install Nagios Core?
What set (if any) of instructions/ guides are you using to install NRPE?
Could you post (in code wraps please) the 50 or so lines which precede those errors you posted?
