SNMP Walk issue

Post by JakeHatMacys »

Is there some additional SNMP Walk configurations that need to be in place on the App side of Nagios to enable SNMP Walk via wizard monitor configurations???

The issue is we can run a SNMP walk from the CLI on our Nagios server (as the Nagios user) but when trying it from the XI GUI getting the following error:
Capture.JPG
Our CLI command:

snmpwalk -v3 -c monitor -u ******** -A ****** -X ******* -l authpriv -a MD5 ***************.*************system

Output from CLI:

Code: Select all

There were some updates to the SNMPWalk wizard that could cause the issue you are seeing.
Try updating it to the latest by logging in to the GUI and going to the Admin > Manage Config Wizards, click the Check for updates button and update the Wizard.
Try that and let us know if it helps.
Also, do you have any special characters in the username or password, that may cause the error as well.
