NRDP unconfigured object

Post by peter19x »

Hello,

I hope I can explain this clearly.

So I am using the sendnrpd.sh script on my server to send passive checks to Nagios XI.

First, after sending the first checks I realised I had illegal characters in the check service name 'HK0,1'. So I have deleted the service from the Unconfigured objects page and renamed the service to 'HK01'

The problem is, every time I send a new passive check, the old passive check come up again in the Unconfigured objects page.

Any idea on how I can remove it permanently ?
Picture attached for more info.

Thank you,
Peter

Have you tried clicking on the "Clear Unconfigured Objects List" link?

Note: I would guess you selected the objects that you wanted to remove, and clicked on the "Remove" ("X") button. Please, correct me if I am wrong.

correct , I used the X bottom instead of clear since there are other Unconfigured services I did not want to delete. Now the issue is fixed after I did a restore but I will keep that in mind next time I face this problem.

thank you

It sounds like this issue has been resolved. Is it okay if we lock this thread? Thanks for choosing the Nagios forums!
