AD/LDAP Select User List Truncated

I have made the updates to php.ini which has made no difference to the look up of users fro the OU. The last entry listed varies based on the users which exist in the OU, the count is always 996 entries, looks like I am going to need to speak to the AD team to see if they can offer assistance

If it isn't a special character issue (maybe there are some test accounts the AD guys haven't shown you?), then the reason that it ends at 996 instead of 1000 is probably dummy accounts. I hope that information helps them troubleshoot the issue on their end.
