A full listing of all the rrd files for the two hosts/ports I am successfully doing graphs for and also the file for the host/port that is not working. All show matching permissions of -rwxrwxr-x and a modified date/time of the last run a few minutes before.

Received.

In the forth post from this thread, you included a screen. From that screen, please click "Run Check Command" then again in the next box. Provide me with the entire output of the that.

Also please include the rrd file in question.

That is a valid rrd file showing no usage on the interface.

If you do a:

Code: Select all

snmpwalk -v 2c -c <your community> <your host> ifTable
what is the output?

Well...that's completely embarrassing...I was totally looking at the wrong port number. There was a mislabel between the Cacti monitoring and the actual interface number.

So it's now reporting correctly. That being said, if I wanted to add a bandwidth graph to a host that already existed, what is the manual process to create the RRD file/back end stuff so it will work correctly when I add the service?

The best method is to rerun the Switch / Router wizard using the correct hosts etc. Are we ok to lock this thread?
