You means it's not possible to resolve this issue to this version.

Bugfixes are not back-ported to previous versions. If a bug has been fixed in a later version than you are running, you will need to upgrade to get the fix.

Yes, I saw the change log. But is there anyway to fixed is to this version. Because updating to 5.3 will take 1month and by this one month we will get unnecessary alerts.

If this is a bug which was fixed in a later version, then you will need to upgrade to get the fix.

For the time-being, if you can provide us with more detail about what exactly is not working, we can maybe address that. Are you getting an error? Does the downtime just not take effect? Are you editing the cfg file directly or using the web interface to configure things?

If you like you can diff your current version against the current release of Nagios XI and backport the required changes. That process is well outside the scope of support, non-trivial and certain parts of the codebase XI are encrypted. We offer custom development for a fee which may be able to solve this for you.
