Ghost services...

Greetings,
I have been reading over these forums and I noticed that alot of ppl have had issues with ghost services and hosts at some point. Either they were resolved following certain steps, upgrading or by some miracle.
Linux 2.6.32-642.1.1.el6.x86_64
My current installation is nagios XI 5.3.2.
There are no multiple installations running.

I've manually managed the config physical files aka - Delete->Write->Verify->Apply Configuration
I have stopped and restarted the services, both nagios and ndo2db

The ghost services are still showing.

XI > Admin > System Profile > Download Profile

Please include the zip file in your response. You can PM myself or other support personnel if you have privacy concerns.

Please post a screenshot of a service which should not be there.

Please show the full command and output for the following:

# ./reconfigure_nagios.sh
The service appears in your objects.cache which is to be expected.

Does the Service appear in XI > Configure > CCM > Services?

What is the output from:

Are the services still present after the ./reconfigure_nagios.sh?

If they are, have you tried reverting to a known good config?

XI > Configure > CCM > Configuration Snapshots

Correct, the services are still present.
At this point, I don't have a config to revert to that hasn't had this issue.

Try this:

service nagios stop
mv /usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache /usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache.old
service nagios start
Please post the output and if the ghost services are still present after a browser refresh.
