Nagios core to Nagios xi Migration

Post by ai983 »

I am doing migration from nagios core to nagiosxi. While doing migration I am not able to import any few services.cfg configuration files into nagios xi. I am adopt following procedure please let me know if I am I doing anything wrong or there is something I can do to fix this problem because there are like more than 3000 services if I have to define them manually and if I can directly import configs that would be great.

php /usr/local/nagiosxi/tools/xiprepimport.php orig/prod_services.cfg

Go to nagiosxi ccm click on import config files and then import the file from there which I just mentioned above then click on config file management

Click on write files and then click on verify
Then click on apply configuration

In this process, I am not able to import the config files and I am not getting any error as well. Any help will be much appreciated

With 3000 services it may be a PHP limit somewhere, could you attempt to import again and post these files for us to review?

Code: Select all

/var/log/httpd/error_log
/var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log
/var/log/httpd/access_log
/var/log/httpd/ssl_access_log
