Hello,
Our company is moving from an existing AD domain to a new domain. Even though Nagios is Linux based I have two questions:
1) What, if any, steps do I need to take to move nagios to supporting a new AD domain?
2) Where in Nagios do I add the new domain suffix name to search for items in the new DNS thats part of our AD infrastructure?
Thank you,
Tom

1. We do not have any information about joining the linux machine to a domain for XI, your best bet is to speak with the linux administrator and see if it's needed.
2. You'll want to follow through this document to do so - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf

I can speak to our LInux guy, how about adding an additional DNS address and suffix to search when looking for host names then (question 2)?

Could you clarify your DNS question? The document @rkennedy sent you talks about DNS on the first page.
Also, as far as your question about supporting a new AD domain, are you asking how to change the settings in the AD component in XI? If so, that is also addressed in the document from the previous post. If that is not what you are asking, could you clarify that as well?
