REST API to add/remove a host ?

Hi
I am Nagios Core 4 user. I like to understand if Nagios XI has ability to create and delete a host from external REST API call.
ie, when a openstack instance got spun up, it can trigger a REST call to Nagios XI server to add it,
once instance got deleted the Nagios server remove it from another REST call.

Core doesn't support this functionality however there may be addon's which fulfill your needs:

XI has a API capable of this builtin: XI > Help > Config Reference for details.
