NagiosXI-WizardError

Post by maartin.pii »

Hi Guys,

I have the following issue:

1) Use Network Switch / Router Monitoring Wizard
2) It discovers every port from IP/SNMP Config
2.a) I just ask to add one port and ping
2.b) Apply
3) It hangs on "Waiting for configuration verification......."
3.a) Logs:

Thanks but that is not what we're looking for. We'll need for you to download the profile. This will contain much more info we can use for diagnosis.

That proifle.zip is corrupt, neither myself nor a colleague are able to unzip it. Are you able to unzip it on your side?
Try downloading a new profile but before sending it in, try unzipping it first - thanks again -

Hello @maartin.pii

If you need generate a profile in a console do you need run as nagios user

Code: Select all

mkdir /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile/
sudo ./getprofile.sh
or has root user

Code: Select all

mkdir /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile/
sudo ./getprofile.sh
the file is generated in /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip, do you need remove a file manually after download a file

Code: Select all

rm /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip

That profile was good, thanks. Of course, nothing jumps out regarding this delay with "....Configuration Verification." I'm betting it's one of the possible culprits listed in the following doc. Please run through all of the steps and let us know if this resolves it.
