Nagios XI API

Hi,

we're currently using Nagios XI 5.3.3. We want our backed to be able to connect to the Nagios XI API to not only create new hosts automatically, but also to be able to modify hostgroups throught the API without needing to delete and create everything each time. There does not appear to be a way to do that in the API documentation, are there any commands that are not included in the documentation that would let us do this?

I filed a feature request for this ability, ID #10357.

One work around way, may be to use a template which has a hostgroup assigned.
