New version Nagios XI

I have seen that exist new version Nagios XI. Can you tell me where I can get information to update? My server havent't output to Internet

The Server will need access to the Internet, and we have a document explaining how to upgrade

Thank you for the information. I can download software, but I see that in Nagios Xi Console appear Update Check Problem: Last update check failed. Can you say me if I need modify change something, to run internet site?

The update check will fail if your machine doesn't have Internet access.

What version are you currently running?

The update check problem is because your machine doesn't have direct access to the internet.

If you follow the XI_Upgrade_Instructions and get to the latest version, you can try our proxy component which can be configured to allow XI to use proxy information you provide to check for newer versions.

I updated Nagios XI. know my version is:


Nagios XI 2011R2.1 Copyright © 2008-2011 Nagios Enterprises, LLC..

and I modified yum.conf

proxy=http://IP:PUERTO/

and wgetrc:

use_proxy = on
http_proxy=http://IP:PUERTO/
ftp_proxy=http://IP:PUERTO/
no_proxy=localhost

I can downloads packages, from line commands, but in my Nagios Web appear: The last update check failed.

If I load proxy.zip, Can I check update from Web, with my version Nagios?

This should work just fine, but please note proxy.zip should be considered a beta component.
