Dashboard, filtering and share link

Post by bennyboy »

Hi,

I want to know how to create dashboard and filter the scope of view.

As an example : I have 300 server and 600 services. I want to see the minemap dashlet with specific filter. I want to see only the Linux server or only a specific server. I also want to send a link to someone don't nescessary have acces to nagios XI. I already setup a readonly account and setup the autologin feature. The think is when I send a link like that to someone : http://sldmon0139/nagiosxi/includes/com ... w=services that poeple click to the link but see session timeout ... I want that people to see the result without need to logon.

You should be able to limit this by Hostgroups / Servicegroups - can you please clarify what you're looking for?

Just to make sure I understand correctly, you setup a read only account for notifications to go out on which you'd like to append the &username=&ticket= syntax for auto login? Also - are you only sending that link out to local users, or WAN users as well?

From the Home page, click 'Minemap' under 'Maps'. Then, up top you will see an area to limit by hostgroup or servicegroup.
