**FIXED** NagiosXI 5.3.4 - configuration verification

Post by dfmco »

***UPDATE*** New OVF uses localhost4 and localhost6 in the /etc/hosts file. Added localhost to the v4 ip line and it works like a champ now!

I am unable to add any devices to 2 new installs. It looks like this was a known problem in 5.3.1 but should this not be fixed now? What do you need from me to get this going?

[root@dfmco-rbunw-nagios ~]# cd /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/
[root@dfmco-rbunw-nagios scripts]# ./reconfigure_nagios.sh

Judging from your post in the other thread, it sounds like this issue has been resolved. Is it okay if we lock this thread? Thanks for choosing the Nagios forums!
