SMS notifications for one service

Hello,

Is it possible to configure SMS notifications for one service for one existing user who is already contact for other services for which he doesnt want sms notifications? I have the feeling once you enable sms notifications for example for critical services, this is a global setting resulting in the user getting sms alerts for all service that are changing into a critical state?

That is not an answer to my question... I know notifications are per user etc... But I need to get sms'es for one service and not for all services...

Check the screenshot I attached. As selecting "service critical" results in the user getting notifications for all critical service he was contact for.... This is not what I need. user need to be contacted per sms for one service only (mailflow test). Other service going critical have to result in email ntoifications.

Do you understand what I mean?

I understand your meaning but that doesn't change how notifications <-> users work. If you want that level of granularity the only current option would be to create another user only associated with that service/transport mechanism.

I can put in a Feature Request for more options if you like.

Seems like a bit weird that I would have to create two XI users for each user. As we don't really want sms notificaitons for all critical service, only for this one service which monitors the mailflow, I do think a feature request would be a good addition.

FR 10148 has been created for this. You can inquire on the forums or via ticket on its status. Please note a FR is at the discretion of the developers.
